Atlas Paper Mills was founded in 1981 and is located 5 miles north of Miami, Florida. Atlas is one of a select number of U.S. manufacturers who make tissue and towels from 100% recycled scrap paper. Atlas produces over  90 tons a day of tissue paper operating in 300,000 square feet with 240 full-time employees.

The paper mill is in production 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Atlas was one of the first companies in the United States to manufacture all of its products from 100% recycled scrap paper. The "post-consumer" waste content meets or exceeds EPA guidelines.

By producing paper in this manner we decrease the amount of solid waste that is put into landfills. Each ton of scrap paper recycled saves 3.3 cubic yards of space.
